About Us

Positive Perspectives, Inc. is a group of mental health professionals who are dedicated to helping with life’s difficulties. We are trained ¬†psychologists, social workers, and counselors. But more than that, we are real people who have coped with and transcended difficult life experiences ourselves.

If you have never been in counseling before, you may think that seeking help with personal problems is difficult to do. It does require courage to face issues, to take a chance, and to trust in others. To do so can lead to a happier, more positive, more fulfilling life.

Seeking help often brings up questions about privacy. Because we understand your need to be sure that what you share remains confidential, we take great care in explaining and enforcing the legal standards that protect your privacy. Helping you heal means protecting your trust.

The Care You Can Expect: Change requires respect, care and kindness from those here to help. Our office staff is both professional and discreet. Our therapists adhere to the highest standards of professional ethics.

  • Convenient hours are important to you, so we have flexible office hours; we offer appointments during regular working hours as well as evenings. Limited Saturday appointments may be available.
  • Accessibility after hours is one of our goals. We maintain a 24-hour, seven day-a-week telephone answering service. We will respond as soon as possible in a crisis.

Assistance with Insurance: Most insurance programs fully or partially cover our outpatient mental health treatment. We are approved by most insurance companies and many HMOs and PPOs. We are experienced in helping clients find out about their coverage, and we assist clients with insurance claims.

Out-of-pocket costs are less than you might expect. If you do not wish to use your benefits or have financial questions, please discuss your needs with your therapist.

Methods of Payment Accepted:
Cash, Checks, Most Insurances, and Credit and Debit cards.
